I — Access & Stay

NUKUMI is a private sanctuary exclusively for adults aged 18+ and registered guests.

Each private casita includes:

  • a fully equipped kitchen
  • private bathroom
  • outdoor shower
  • private terrace
  • separate bedroom
  • a large built-in closet
  • a safe with key
  • Check-in: 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM

Keys can be returned at reception or left on your casita door.

II — Capacity & Reservation Integrity

Your booking must reflect the correct number of guests.

If a casita booked for one guest is occupied by two, management may apply one of the following:

  • The unregistered person must leave immediately or pay the difference.

2. Both guests may be asked to leave. This is considered a false reservation and no refund will be issued.

Rates vary depending on single or double occupancy.

III — Care for the Space

NUKUMI has been built with craftsmanship, love and intention.

Floors, walls, furniture, linens, textures and art pieces must be treated with great care.

Cleaning essentials are provided in each kitchen.

Before leaving, guests are expected to wash dishes and leave the kitchen and casita in a clean,

respectful condition.

IV — Respect for Staff

Kindness, calm communication and respect are essential.

Guests are invited to address staff members by their first name, visible on their uniforms.

Aggressive, dismissive or disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated and may result

in removal from the property without refund.

V — Animals of the Property

Two friendly, vaccinated cats live freely at NUKUMI.

They are part of the spirit of the place.

*GUEST ANIMALS ARE NOT ACCEPTED IN NUKUMI CLUB*

Please:

do not feed them

do not force interaction

do not try to keep them inside

If allergies or concerns arise, please inform management.

VI — Safety

Guests are fully responsible for their own safety.

Security cameras monitor outdoor areas and the boutique.

A basic medical kit is available for minor issues.

VII — Pool & Quiet Areas

The pool is open 24/7 and used at guests’ own risk.

To protect calm and water quality:

shower before entering the pool

sunscreen and sand must never enter the water

no running, diving or loud behaviour

pool towels must be used respectfully

Food and drinks may be enjoyed:

in your casita

on your terrace

in the shared social area

or at the poolside tables

VIII — Cleanliness & Shared Respect

A waste bin is available in the shared social area and must be kept clean at all times.

Each casita has a foot-rinse basin at the entrance

— please use it before entering the casita.

Smoking is not allowed indoors; only designated outdoor smoking areas may be used.

IX — Respect for Nature & Community

Guests are asked to respect all living beings: plants, birds, animals and the surrounding environment,

inside and outside the property.

If you access the La Punta surf zone or use local surf tools or equipment,

please handle everything with care and awareness.

Local residents recognize NUKUMI guests — your behavior contributes to the hotel’s reputation.

X — Damages & Accountability

A security deposit may be requested through Guesty MOP, depending on the length of stay.

Breakage, theft, stains, misuse of linens or towels, avoidable extra cleaning

or damage to materials and furniture may result in immediate charges.

Charges may also apply after departure if damage is discovered.

XI — Agreement

By staying at NUKUMI, you agree to these rules.

1. Reservation & Payment

 

A reservation becomes confirmed once full payment or required deposit is received.

Rates may vary depending on season (low, mid, or high).

 

Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM

 

2. Cancellation Policy

 

  • Time Before ArrivalPolicy

100% refund (excluding platform + banking fees)

  • 59–30 days

Full refund

  • 29–15 days

No refund — rescheduling possible with voucher

  • 14 days or less

No refund — rescheduling possible with voucher

  • No-show or early departure

Non-refundable

 

3. Rescheduling Rules

 

  • One reschedule is allowed free of charge
  • when requested 30+ days before arrival.
  • All rescheduled dates remain subject to seasonal pricing differences.
  • Vouchers issued after late cancellation are
  • alid for 12 months and cannot be refunded.

4. Force Majeure

Accepted only with official proof and limited to:

  • Border closure or government travel restriction
  • Major natural disaster preventing access to Santa Catalina
  • Official airline cancellation by aviation authority (no re-routing available)
  • Life-threatening medical condition
  • Death of an immediate family member

⚠️ Standard airline delays, normal weather, storms, or rerouting are not considered force majeure.

Approved cases receive a voucher only, not a cash refund.

 

5. Platform Alignment (Guesty + Airbnb)

 

  • Airbnb bookings: Airbnb’s cancellation model applies, plus Nukumi’s Force Majeure rules.
  • Direct or Guesty bookings: This policy applies exactly as written.

 

6. Guest Responsibilities

 

Guests agree to respect:

 

  • House rules and environment
  • Check-in/check-out schedule
  • Capacity limits
  • Property care and community standards

 

Violations may result in penalties or cancellation without refund.

 

7. Travel Insurance

 

Guests are strongly encouraged to secure personal travel insurance covering:

  • Airline disruptions
  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellation
  • Weather or travel interruptions

8. Final NotE

NUKUMI Club is a private boutique destination with limited availability.

These policies ensure fairness, protection of guest experience, and smooth operations.
